Een klein idee ontstond aan een keukentafel in Dordrecht. Langzaam groeide het uit tot iets tastbaars, een liefdevol merk genaamd Lighthouse Candles, geboren uit vaders visie en de vrolijke, helpende handen van zijn dochter.
Onze geuren zijn zorgvuldig in balans: krachtig genoeg om de sfeer te bepalen, maar subtiel genoeg om nooit te overheersen. Daarbij eren we het ambacht van kaarsenmaken zoals het ooit bedoeld was; rustig, geduldig en met beide handen.
Elke kaars wordt met zorg samengesteld uit zorgvuldig gekozen ingrediënten, zodat u en uw dierbaren thuis kunnen genieten van een warm moment.

Eerlijke producten
Onze handgegoten kaarsen bestaan uit hoogwaardige koolzaadwas, verrijkt met een vleugje kokoswas voor een gladdere finish, krachtigere geurspreiding en gelijkmatig brandgedrag. We gebruiken speciaal ontwikkelde lonten voor geurkaarsen, voor de schoonste verbranding. Al onze kaarsen zijn veganistisch, 100 % dierproefvrij en volledig vrij van parabenen, paraffine en ftalaten.
Meet Steve and Amy
Drexel Brooks’s fascination with fragrances, art, and history started with his upbringing as a native of Louisiana. While growing up, he saw French, African, and European influences all around him. He also fell in love with the scents of the different foods prepared by his Grandmother in her kitchen, the sounds of Louisiana music, and the fragrances of the various incense and candles his mother would burn. As he got older, his love of fragrances continued to expand as he purchased various essential oils and fragrances, which in doing so, helped him become a student of the notes and complex blends of those fragrances. After moving to Texas and working in both the financial and insurance industries, Drexel decided to embark on a venture of his own, so that he could not only use his knowledge of fragrances to create but also to inspire a love of history through those creations. And Beautiful Brûlée House of Fragrance was born. So after months of product testing, long nights, and design, he is now ready to bring his creations to you and hopes that each of our candles lights up your day and puts a smile on your face!

I recently became an ivf mama to a very special little boy, so you won’t always see me at the shop (he’s only a wee babe for a short while so I’m choosing to soak it all in) but I’m always working hard behind the scenes.
